So... how'd nosotros all create through the holidays? OK, I know nosotros yet accept New Year's to go, but that's non a big bargain for me. We're quondam married people too non actually doing anything this year.
I did amazing too I did terrible.
First, the amazing. If y'all follow me on Instagram y'all know I did #holiday2adays (worked out twice a day) through most of December. Gold star for workouts.
I also did pretty amazing on my nutrient for the normal days. The party-get-together-celebration days...
That's where the terrible comes in. Too also too many Paleo treats (on the upside I perfected a Paleo double chocolate muffin recipe). H5N1 fleck to a greater extent than dairy than my trunk tends to create good with. Oh, too wine.
The past times few years I've been bulletproof through the holidays. This year? Not too then much. I started struggling at Thanksgiving too struggled correct on through. I gained weight back. Ah well. Moving on...
I only dear a shiny New Year. Filled amongst promise too possibility. I know, I know, too then many moan too groan almost the resolution crowd, but I mean value it's a fun fourth dimension amongst too then many having a renewed vigor for wellness too fitness!
Resolutions aren't actually my thing, but I'm big on setting goals. I sat downward this past times calendar week too mapped out what I desire to larn done for 2014 inwards all areas of my life.
2014 is looking pretty amazing!
I'm launching a novel blog, Dreams create come upward true.
As far every bit health, fitness, too running I've laid upward 2 goals:
- I volition larn dorsum into 5k variety too run 2 or three of those.
- I volition larn to my pre-pregnancy weight past times Baby O.'s i twelvemonth birthday (June 25th).
With everything else nosotros accept going on that's pretty much it (ya, similar that's all slow peasy!). I'm to a greater extent than oft than non going to focus on consistency. With workouts, running, too food.

Weekly weigh-ins also must come upward back. I'm non certain if I'll create them here, on instagram, vine, or you tube, but I postulate them.
Tracking also needs to happen. Yes, I swallow rattling good (ie healthy, Paleo), but yes, I tin yet tend to swallow too much. I mean value I'm going to become dorsum to My Fitness Pal. Anyone accept a tracking method they dear madly?
Six months postpartum. Where did the fourth dimension go? For a few days the outset of Dec I got rattling downward too discouraged almost the fact that I've made rattling niggling progress inwards losing the infant weight. I whined too wallered inwards I've-worked-so-hard-with-no-results self pity. Then, I took a difficult await at my choices. Consistency has been lacking inwards all areas. Doing non bad 2 days too terrible 5 volition non convey me to where I desire to be.
But, no regrets. I accept now and I select to boot butt amongst my now. It's a constant process, but I'll larn dorsum to where I was pre-baby, inwards that ZONE. I believe inwards me. ;)
Bring on January, convey on 2014. I'm cook to become far AWESOME!
